They're lucky in n out is not on the east coast cause their signs look similar enough that a lawyer may have words. Food was good. Friendly staff. Counter with some seats. Looked more like a takeout place. Place looked clean. It's hidden in a strip mall.
Honestly, for food quality relative to cost, Halal-n-Out is hard to beat for take out. We have a picky eater and the changes to the meal were as requested (they were for a child so I really, really appreciated it). I'm not a fan of the French fries - especially for take out (they put them in a plastic container which makes them soggy). And, I'd order ahead for pick up rather than going in and ordering (this seems to take a while - at least it has in the past). For ambiance - it's takeout so it's what you'd expect and really doesn't matter. . .
This place is awesome! This is my go to spot for oopsy! I don't have time to make dinner. Easy online ordering and super fast delivery. My go to dish is chicken and lamb rice. It comes with a fresh salad, Naan. Fresh, fast, hot and tasty. You just can't go wrong. One of these days I might order something different, but they have this dish down pat and if I order two, it easily feeds a small family.
Wow. Very happy we drove an hour total to try this place out. We're used to halal food from NYC and Buffalo and have been craving it. This exceeded our expectations. Placed order online and received 15% off, easy and friendly pick up and the quality? Incredible and very clean tasting!!! So delicious, I have 70% left over to enjoy tomorrow. Will be back!
Super tasty and more bang for your buck than fast food places. Although there is a bit of a wait, they are getting better each time we're there. We order the chopped cheese on a regular and the white sauce is bomb. We got the larger container for a few bucks vs the added 4, 5, or 6 sauces on the side. It's so good! There is plenty of parking in this lot on Hudson and E. Ridge. They also have some tables and tvs if you want to dine in. Definitely a fav so far!
I tried this hidden gem for the first time! The quality is good and the taste is delicious. The place is very clean and well organized. They have gluten free options so that's definitely a plus. The quantity is substantial and most likely you won't be able to finish one plate at one sitting. I'll definitely come back here again soon!
Halal-N-Out is such a Rochester gem! I have both ordered food to my University and eaten inside their location, and the food has been great every time! My go-to order is always their lamb and chicken mix platter combo with fries and drink. I always think I am going to try something new, but the lamb and chicken is the perfect combo, and I always end up ordering it. The meat is beyond delicious and flavorful. Their white sauce is also an amazing addition to the platter. Their cheese fries are also a delicious option! They are also quite reasonably priced and make the orders super fast, which is perfect for a quick lunch. Definetly try them out!
I'm really glad we have a halal place in Rochester! I ordered the chicken salad and cheesy fries for pick up and it was ready in a half an hour. The salad is huge and was enough for two meals. I added on chickpeas, onion, cucumber, and black beans (no extra charge) and the white sauce (50 cents extra). Highly recommend adding on the white sauce to whatever you order, it's worth it. There was a generous portion of chicken in the salad and it all tasted great. The cheesy fries were seasoned fries with cheese sauce -- not melted shredded (which I don't like). They were perfect and exactly what I was craving. I am excited to visit again and try more items!
Finally a Halal place in Rochester! I've been here twice now. Both times on a Saturday during the dinner rush. I got the chicken platter both times. I like the basmati rice with the chicken and the sauce they put all over it. It comes with a side salad which I don't care for because it's iceberg lettuce. I also got the fries which I really like since it's breaded. There are a handful of tables for dine in. There's a cool mural against the wall right when you enter m. They also offer Hersheys scoop ice cream. There's a huge parking lot with plenty of parking spaces as well.
